Fibre to the cabinet (FTTC) is a business grade, fibre optic broadband that is up to 10 times faster than a standard ADSL or ADSL 2+ .
What is FTTC?
FTTC is a solution that is provided on copper from your office to the green cabinet in the street. But thereafter, from the cabinet back to the local exchange, the connection is fibre optic, not copper, hence the term ‘fibre to the cabinet’. That’s why with the vast majority of the distance between your business and the local exchange being fibre, the speeds are so much higher.
Super Fast FTTC for Your Business
Our Business FTTC service comes with speeds of up to 80Mb per second download and 20Mb per second upload. Which really is quite impressive for a broadband service. So for quite affordable prices, businesses are now able to utilize those kinds of speeds that before were only really available with leased line type solutions that are a lot more expensive.
Although FTTC has not been rolled out to a vast majority of the country, it would be very much location dependent on whether or not the service was available to your business. If you have a PSTN line that use or intend to use for your broadband then we can quickly check easily exactly what services are available on that line. It only takes a few seconds. If FTTC is available to you and you haven’t yet upgraded, then what are you waiting for?
To find out if FTTC is available or to see when Fibre Optic Broadband will be activated at your local exchange, please call us now, or email email@example.com with your postcode or analogue line number and we’d be happy to assist!
